Join us for an afternoon of inspiration and practical action as we talk to artists and companies who are responding to the climate crisis.

 

This event is designed to support us all to make more consideration of environmental factors in creating new work, and in turn support implementation of Arts Council England Investment Principles.

Sustainable practice and productions

 

We’ll be joined by artists who are making their work in more sustainable ways, to share their experience and practical measures we can consider to reduce our impact.

With George Johnson Leigh (designer and Production Manager, Opera North), Marla King (dancer and SAIL facilitator), Siobhan Bauer (Theatre Green Book researcher, Royal Holloway)

Artistic responses to the climate crisis

 

We’ll be meeting artists who have created powerful artistic responses to the climate crisis, hearing about the ways they’ve reflected this in their work, and used this work to affect action in audiences.
