Opera Rave
Uniting operagoers and ravers within one musical experience
​You’re invited to Opera Rave – a 30-minute sharing under club-inspired lights and visuals.
Opera Rave is a brand-new way to experience opera, fusing operatic libretto and singing styles with electronic beats – it’s part-opera, part-rave.
Across five days prior to the sharing, the Opera Rave team – led by Leeds Opera Festival’s Guest Artistic Director, Emma Hill – will be experimenting with beats, notes and Bizet’s Carmen.
We’ll be presenting our discoveries as part of Leeds Opera Festival’s Opera in Urban Spaces Day and would love to welcome you to this exciting new event.
